William Craven

At EcoTalk, Will Craven has found the perfect synthesis of his passion for written communication, the medium of radio, and social progress. Getting his start in radio as a Jazz DJ with an NPR affiliate in North Carolina, Will has since graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in English, taught in Japan for two years, attended a Summer program at the London School of Economics, and worked for the Department of Elections in San Francisco. As someone who does not come from an environmental background, Will has felt firsthand how learning to make small changes to one's lifestyle can, little by little, empower a person to become a sensible steward of the earth.

Carolyn Brown, Director of Marketing

Carolyn, founder of GreenWave Communications, helps environmental organizations and green businesses build awareness and action through communications, marketing and partnerships. She earned an A.B. from Princeton University in Politics and Economics, magna cum laude, and an M.A. in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University.

Born and raised near Philadelphia, she has lived in the Bay Area for nearly 20 years.

About Shana

Shana Weber has a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs and is EcoTalk's scientific advisor.
She is a field ecologist, teacher, and photographer who has worked in radio since 1997. She is particularly passionate about communicating practical and creative ways to work toward social and environmental sustainability while also celebrating Earth's great biodiversity.
