Niccine: a new approach to quit smoking This is a different approach to the quit smoking problem similiar to by the drug maker Pfizer's Chantix

Swedish anti-nicotine vaccine to be tested in Nordic countries "A Swedish vaccine against nicotine will be tested on 400 people in three Nordic countries,"

Heavy smokers who would like to quit, will get counselling along with the new drug, initial test will run for 4 months. Niccine is supposed to help the immune system build antibodies against nicotine.

Interesting approach to the problem: Niccine will latch onto the incoming nicotine and preventing it from reaching the brain's reward system, thereby preventing the smoker from getting that addictive smoking "kick" or hit.

Niccine, has been developed over the course of 10 years by Swedish researchers at the Karolinska Institute, under the guidance of professor Torgny Svensson who founded Independent pharmaceutica.

This is a different approach to the quit smoking problem used by Pfizer's Chantix should I use Chantix or wait for Niccine ? Quit smoking, smoking cessation drugs, smoking cessation medicine

Smoke Free for 7 years and helping others on their journey to a healthy life change.

Quiting is extremely hard and yes it takes will power and support.

Make choices in journey that fit who you are and if you are going to go with anything over the counter or a prescription route, please do your research and learn the downsides and side effects.

Remember to break it down in smaller steps, smoking is just as much as a mental addition as it is a physical one so you must pay close attention to both aspects.

Quitting smoking is easy. If you think it's hard, the level of your brainwash is pretty high. Start question your self for christ sake, it's about time.

The ElectroN is an electronic cigarette or smoking device. It consists of 2 parts – battery and atomizer unit with replaceable nicotine cartridge. It looks and works just like a regular cigarette – but without any of the harmful substances like tar, tobacco. Some studies mention that a regular cigarette has over 1,000 harmful chemicals! To use the ElectroN electronic cigarette you first charge the battery (we provide you with two batteries so you can charge one while using the other) and after charging is complete (it takes about 1 hour to charge the battery) you connect it to the replaceable nicotine cartridge and just smoke it like a regular cigarette. You will then be amazed to inhale and exhale smoke – just like a regular cigarette – BUT this smoke is actually just harmless vapour that does not contain harmful chemicals and leaves no smell!

Thank you very much for the information I really appreciate it!!

I think that it is a great breakthough. Thanks for the killer article.

It seems that as of lately everybody is trying in one way or another to put a stop to smoking.

With the recent interduction of electronic cigarettes and now niccin I can immagine that the government is not to happy.

I can only imagine that the FDA will try to put a ban on this to once it is though the testing phase.

They just need to wisen up and legalize marijuana and tax the hell out of it.

i agree to the comment above which says that quitting smoking is easy. its all in the mind and once you've conditioned your mind about it, you can be successful.
Smoking tobacco is dangerous to your health. People should be informed by the issues about smoking.
To spread this information to a wider audience, a free e-book is being given away.
The book is endorsed by prominent people, such as Dalai Lama.
You can check out the e-book by going to this link http://www.tobaccobook.com/cdsguidebookspecial.html.

I quit smoking after several attempts, and came to the conclusion that you have to rely on your willpower to kick the habit.
