Bainbridge Book Moms has a blog

Embers_book_clubBainbridge Book Moms is a book club of 12 moms who live on Bainbridge. They have recently decided to post their reviews and comments on a blog.
That was part of the discussion at the first meeting of Bainbridge bloggers that was gracefully hosted by Julie and Ted this saturday. More about that when I get the pictures (as usual from Julie). You can already read an excellent report by Chris Holmes in Busker.
And yes one of the Book Moms, Mary Hager, is also a Dog Mom.
If you are looking for the Bainbridge Bloggers directory.

SHARE TO LEARN:
A new support group for parents whose kids fall outside the norm. If your child is having academic or social issues encompassed by ADHD, dsylexia, autism, sensory integration, etc. there are other parents willing to share resources, hope, coffee and a bit of humor.
Whether you have experience to share in this arena or need direction or encouragement, come and "learn to share, (resources, tips, etc)."
We meet twice a month and will have speakers at nighttime meetings. Daytime meetings on Wednesdays at 10am in members' homes.
In order to keep ourselves moving forward we intend to keep the group hopeful and positive, with access to helpful resources.
Call 842-5159 with questions, or email.

We have a new business coming to Bainbridge Island, it is a mobile espresso/healthy edible "artsy" truck. What would moms and kids like to eat at soccer games/events?
