The working bees at the Buzz are saying bye, bye :(
Many thanks and congratulations for your excellent work. I hope we -as a community- can find a sustainable way to use the internet to report about what's going on beyond what can be produced by the usual mainstream media.
My guess is the Buzz needed more financial support but maybe also more
bees and some extra sources of income related to community
communication on line: many local businesses and organizations are
still far from having a vibrant presence on line. Would they be willing
to pay to get there?
I also just read about this new citizenbay project. But it looks like becoming part of a not so local initiative.
The Buzz will be missed. One of the rare places to find news and comments about what is really happening on our island.
