Rachel Pritchett, reporter for the Bainbridge Islander has started a blog: Bainbridge conversation. Good for you Rachel and welcome in the world of blogs. Since you know I had asked for a long time that the Kistap Sun starts blogging I congratulate you for being the first to do it or are there other new bloggers among the Sun's journalists? The next step will be for you to start podcasting as already do many journalists: since they -often- carry a recorder and do record interviews, why not share them with the public via podcasting? Voice of Bainbridge has done it since its creation: I think it would be a great added value to your blog and your reporting. May I also suggest that you start using a digital camera? A blog with picture is infinitely more engaging.
Bainbridge Book Moms is a book club of 12 moms who live on Bainbridge. They have recently decided to post their reviews and comments on a blog. That was part of the discussion at the first meeting of Bainbridge bloggers that was gracefully hosted by Julie and Ted this saturday. More about that when I get the pictures (as usual from Julie). You can already read an excellent report by Chris Holmes in Busker. And yes one of the Book Moms, Mary Hager, is also a Dog Mom. If you are looking for the Bainbridge Bloggers directory.
