CTFK used to publish a list that eventually provided the amount awarded and a brief description of each project. I could not find it any longer because it is not clearly marked (at least for me). In fact the information is now linked to a google map with pins indicating the location of projects in various countries. The 7th round to apply for a grant is open until January 22d. I could not find information about the projects chosen for the 6th round.
The aim of the project is prepare a national strategic plan for tobacco control and based on it develop, validate and implement a comprehensive law on tobacco control. Country: Burkina Faso To strengthen existing smokefree policies and advertising bans; to launch advocacy campaigns targeted toward the Minister of Health, Director General, Minister of Territorial Administration and other government officials; to raise awareness of tobacco control in coordination with local authorities in the five administrative capitals of Burkina Faso; and to launch a media campaign including print, television and radio.
