The 3 jobs are: Media advocacy and Communications Coordinator (manager level), Research Coordinator (manager level) and Regional language coordinator.
As far as the linguistic skills required from the candidates are concerned, for the first two positions they are "Excellent communication skills in English and/or French" and "Willingness to learn French/English if they don't speak either". We assume the real meaning was if they don't speak both.

The Africa Tobacco Control Consortium (ATCC), coordinated by the America Cancer Society (ACS), and including the Africa Tobacco Control Alliance (ATCA), Africa Tobacco Control Regional Initiative (ATCRI) , Framework Convention Alliance (FCA), Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK), and the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union) is currently implementing a project to promote evidence-based tobacco control in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) in order to prevent an epidemic of tobacco-caused death and disease in the region.
The project will provide financial and technical support for in-country implementation of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC), implementation of a region wide advocacy campaign to prioritise tobacco control within the broader health and development agenda in Africa, targeted rapid response research to influence policy development and the monitoring of the implementation of the FCTC in Sub Saharan Africa (SSA).
