In this article the Globe and mail explains IDRC's representatives have been ostracized from attending a recent tobacco control meeting in Ghana and rejected as sponsor for a conference in Australia and a special issue by the Lancet. IDRC's argument to deny and/or minimize the conflict of interest of its Chair does not appear to be very convincing.
