The recipients appear to be the Global Smokefree Partnership, FCA and Healthbridge. FCA told us they received CAD 145.000 managed via GSP. Path Canada (HealthBridge since 2006) is also mentioned as a recipient. HealthBridge had partnered with IDRC to apply for the phase 2 of the Gates Foundation in July 2009 (ACS was selected).

Abstract
The Global Smokefree Partnership (GSP), hosted by the American Cancer Society (ACS) and the Framework Convention Alliance (FCA), is a multi-partner initiative of health organizations working to promote effective smokefree air policies worldwide. IDRC's Research for International Tobacco Control (RITC) is supporting Africa Tobacco Situational Analyses (ATSA) in 12 countries. To date, nine of the ATSA teams have identified smokefree policies as a priority and have embarked on a variety of interventions to promote clean indoor air. Some of these teams will require little or no technical assistance while six of them (Cameroon, Eritrea, Ghana, Malawi, Sénégal and Zambia) will likely need assistance in several areas. This grant will allow Global Smokefree Partnership to provide the necessary training and technical assistance on clean indoor air policies to the six ATSA country teams.
