ATCA's elected Board members are Issah Ali (President), Flore Ndembiyembe (Treasurer), Yussuf Saloojee, Patricia Lambert, Francisco Cabo, Inoussa Saouna and Aimé Ndamina (Association Burundaise de lutte contre le tabagisme). There are no news about the General Assembly approving (voting on) the Annual Report nor about presenting for approval financial documents like the annual audited financial report. According to ATCA's constitution an independent auditor is supposed to verify the financial accounts and the Treasurer is supposed to submit them for a vote of approval by the General Assembly.
ATCA's commitment to transparency and accountability is part of its constitution (pdf), starting with a mention in the section 4.6 devoted to Principles and Values (p.6): b) transparency c) accountability.
That translates into obligations that are detailed below.
