Visiting the site of the Global Smokefree Partnership after reading Tih's article about the slow growth of smokefree places in Africa it looks like nothing has been posted since november 2010. GSP, managed by ACS had received a grant from IDRC to help ATSA teams in 6 countries: Cameroon, Eritrea, Ghana, Malawi, Senegal, Zambia. What happened to this project? What happened to GSP?

Global Smokefree Partnership
The American Cancer Society co-hosts the Global Smokefree Partnership, a multipartner initiative formed to promote effective smokefree air policies worldwide. The Partnership helps practitioners and advocates access the evidence for smokefree policies, request assistance from a network of experts, and take action in support of smokefree policies. The Global Smokefree Partnership has over 300 members in over 100 countries worldwide. This year the Partnership unveiled “Smokefree in a Box,” a guide to help companies implement a 100 percent smokefree workplace. The guide is currently available in Chinese, English, French, and Portuguese. To access the publication and related translations, please click here.
