The $300K grant is awarded to the Association pour la Défense des Droits des Consommateurs (ADC) based in Ndjamena (Chad). The countries involved are Chad, Niger, Burkina, Guinea and Mauritania. It looks like a continuation of a previous grant awarded in 2009 (until July 2011) to the same group to work in Chad, Niger, Burkina and Ivory Coast. As far as we know no report has been made public about what was achieved with the previous grant and how it was managed. Not much is available online about ADC. We found this article and the cyber-interview of Daouda ElDadj Adam by Pascal Bogui, published in 2007 on Pascal's blog (both documents in French).
