Presently the results of the GYTS surveys in African countries are only presented separately in a pdf format on the site of WHO-Africa. Combining the findings provides a more global picture and raises new questions. This is still a work in progress.

The Global Youth Tobacco Surveys that took place in African countries can be found on the WHO-Afro website: unfortunately they are only in a pdf format (for now) and in english (for what I could find). To make those figures usable on line it is necessary to transfer the content into an html format. Still if you already want to have a look it is worth a visit. One strange point seems to be the ight percentage of kids who declare using tobacco products that are not cigarettes: what are they if not cigarettes?
