Tino Rossi (1907-1983) sings Marinella, his first major hit in 1936, music written by Vincent Scotto (who also wrote the music for J'ai deux amours). Tino Rossi is a typical example of the tenors operetta like singers of this period (along Luis Mariano, André Dassary). A catchy tune that launched a career with hundreds of millions of records sold all over the world (and still today according to Wikipedia).
