FCTC COP2, Thursday 5 July: The FCA evening briefing on Gender and tobacco highlighted the importance of incorporating the gender perspective in FCTC implementation.
Presentations were made on several topics including; Women, gender and the FCTC articles; Health Canada’s policy on gender based analysis; Women’s leadership role in tobacco control in Thailand; and CTFK’s International Advocacy Resource Centre of the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids.
