When work sends me to San Francisco on travel, I stay at the Triton every chance that I get. It's in a perfect location-- right across the street from the China Town Gate, a short walk to the Moscone Center. The place is gorgeous, the staff is wonderful, the rooms are MORE than comfortable and quiet, and the prices are fantastic, considering the location.
I first found the Triton on-line... I needed a place that fit my travel perdiem... Once I checked in, and discovered the Triton's mission, I was immediately sold. I recommend the Triton to all of my co-workers, as well.
When I can't get a room at the Triton, I stay right next door at the Alisa Hotel... Another lovely Green boutique hotel.
It has brought a huge smile to my face hearing the Triton mentioned on your show!
But, now I fear that getting a room will be a *bit* more difficult in the future... ;)

I've been working with Kimpton on their eco program, EarthCare, and they have demonstrated a compelling and sincere commitment to reducing their ecological footprint at all their hotels, not just the Triton. See what they are doing and you may want to consider any of their hotels to further support this mission.
