In this
time of global warming, can we afford hunting practices that are based
on bad science? The Alaska Board of Game has just opened a hunting season
on a small mammal that is off-limits in the lower 48. It is called the
collared pika, or rock rabbit, and is already threatened by global warming.

I want you to know that I am doing a project on the endangered species: the Pikas and I would like to find out how they have become extict and three reasons why we should keep the pikas around or how we could keep them around.
