Again quite a few gaps from those accepted but not turning up. The poor positioning of the posters has robbed the participating delegates of the audience they deserve.
More details of individual countries` smoke free class initiatives added little to the morning session. Collaboration on themed topics such as this could have been more useful.
To avoid accusations of UK bias I won`t give special mention to Smoke Free Birmingham`s Counterfeit cigarettes need a health warning! and Smoke Free Liverpool`s D-Myst youth advocacy campaign.
With a few exceptions many posters were going over old ground. In future I`d like to see a special section for innovation. In general I would recommend simple design to get the point across quickly - with a limited time to view delegates are put off posters with blocks of text and no pictures!
