Arkive is in Bristol UK, a project of Wildscreen that organizes a bi-annual environmental film festival since 1982.
The mission of arkive is to collect and preserve the films, pictures, audiofiles about our environment.
The connection with Hazelwolf network is how do we help people to
access the environmental movies and how do we collect them in our
region?
As a fan of the French cinémathèque where the late Henri
Langlois collected and preserved old feature films from all over the
world I wonder how do we organize the diffusion of environmental films beyond
the festivals?
The Bainbridge Festival has partnered with Kitsap Libraries so that they held copies of the films the Festival shows.
It sounds like a good idea.
How do we communicate about the films?
People need to find easy ways to hear/learn about them.
What about a blog? or a section of a blog?
