Grizzly Bears in peril

Roland Hwang

Roland Hwang is a senior policy analyst in NRDC's energy program and works on transportation energy issues. Prior to joining NRDC, Roland was the director of the Transportation Program for the Union of Concerned Scientists in its Berkeley, California, office. He holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California at Davis, as well as a master's in public policy from the University of California at Berkeley.

CARA A. HOROWITZ

Cara is a project attorney in NRDC’s Los Angeles office. Her work focuses on the protection of marine mammals through international advocacy and enforcement of domestic laws, including the Marine Mammal Protection Act. Before joining NRDC, she clerked for the Honorable Dorothy W. Nelson on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and worked in private practice. She is a graduate of Yale College and the UCLA School of Law.
