Smoking
is an addiction based on ritual and sequential expressiveness that are
repeated by smokers 10, 20, 30, 40 times and more over. Nobody
addiction has similar peculiarity. So it is necessary for smokers to
stop and think. Many times words have low efficacy at this purpose.
The Spot that SITAB, the Italian scientific society for the study of
Tobacco, Tabagism and Tobacco related problems, broadcast since
September 24, has this specific goal: to invite smokers to think. We do
this with a cigarettes automatic distributor, a very friendly machine
for smokers.
A campaign which adopts a ironic and surrealistic language in a refined way, useful to create an impact on people and to be a clear demonstration of smoke effects. Easily memorable because the strategic concept is a visual application of the statement that every smoker knows: "Smoking kills."
