Interview by Matt Day in the Seattle Times (published June 13). This is the last item in the interview. The answer brings no clear information about where they are in the process, nor what the final results care going to be. It gives no reason for the optimism expressed later (on June 15) by DOL Secretary Tom Perez at the end of his Lead on Leave tour. It's much too early to celebrate Microsoft as a leader in this area despite the willingness of so many people to do so while nothing has been implemented yet: NOTHING.

We want to be able to make sure that the people here do their best work. The fact that we have vendor staff here, I want to extend that same philosophy to those folks who are making a difference.
Of course, that means we’re going to have to bear the costs of it. It does have some competitive ramifications. Those are all good. We unleashed a market force in there I think that is a good market force which helps everybody.
