I am the webmaster of tobacco.org, nee Tobacco BBS, which amalgamates tobacco news from around the world daily--hourly, actually.
I finally succeeded in quitting smoking in the mid-80s, after 9 major tries over 20 years, and with the help of Al Perlman at the NYC ACS stop-smoking clinic.
