Would it be a good idea if the butt collectors/ashtrays that multiply on the sidewalks were transparent and had this lung shape?
The AOK, Germany’s largest health insurance company, had launched this anti-smoking outdoor campaign to create awareness among people and to urge them to quit. A heart shaped glass structures were placed at strategic public places all over the city and the glass-heart was half filled with cigarette stubs. The negative aspect of smoking was presented is such a way that obviously attracted many people just to feel disgusting about smoking.
The presentation of the campaign is actually hard-hitting and extremely effective. The campaign has evidently aimed at persuading smoker to quit but it goes a bit beyond that even if a non-smoker comes across this advertisement he would persuade his near ones to quite. The campaign was developed by Serviceplan, Dritte Werbeagentur, Munich, Germany.
