Starting to blog about this conference

It is almost 7 a.m and I am still in my hotel room. Since it is quite far from the conference center I did not have the courage to return yesterday afternoon for the opening session. A big mistake for a blogger. I'll try to compensate this failure by more reporting today. See you on the tram (16) or the bus (27) to Gare Cornavin and then bus 5 to Alpexpo. The morning started with checking the emails and some instant skype messaging with Véronique Le Clézio who lives in Mauritius. Her request: an interview with Laurent Huber.
She would like to know about his overall assessment and his most recent trips. Since he is scheduled to speak this morning I'll see what I can do.
