I have read the letter published in the Review and the Islander about the fact that Will Peddy for Mayor was financed -up to now- essentially by contractors. I was curious to know a little more so I went to the site of the public disclosure commission and spent a few minutes figuring out how to get the info. I wish I could give you the direct link to the list but the system does not allow to keep it.
Here is the link to the search: click show choices, look for the name
of the candidate you are interested in, select it then click Send Query on the
bottom, then on the next form click the name on the left side. Sort of easy but tedious.
This list is not posted on the site of the Peddy's campaign. It would be easier if each candidate
was making available the information filed with the PDC. If the candidate has no
site, Voice of Bainbridge offers to host the info.
Here are the names (sp?) I saw on the
list for Will Peddy as of today: JoAnn Hacker ($1000), Robert Hacker ($1000), Lost Arts LLC
($500), Jeff Sueller (contractor, $1000), Ted Francis
(contractor, $1000), Kathleen M (Auditor City of Bainbridge, $ 50), High School
Group (Contractor $ 500), Blue Fish Fine Builders ($1000), Peter Manning
(Architect, $500), Jane Kennedy (contractor, $100), Schmidt Inc (contractor
$100), Dennis Reynolds (attorney $300), Victor Denide
(contractor, $250), Kevin O'Neill (contractor, $200),
Ed Buckley (Real Estate Remax, $200), Hiro Konosu ($500), Oliver
Pedersen (contractor, $200)
What about the other candidates for
Mayor?
I checked Darlene and found to this date a loan of $1000
from herself and 3 contributions: Tracy Dickerson
($200), Chris Endresen ($100) and Merrill Robison
($75). Nezam Toolee has not chosen
the full reporting option. The mini-reporting option he chose means he does not
intend to raise more than $3.500 and will not accept contributions of more than
$300. It also means he will not report any of those to the PDC.
Same for Michaels Berry.
